Technology Infrastructure Support for

Manufacturer needed help to revamp their information technology infrastructure, and to help
manage production in
a plant outside of the U.S. according to
NAFTA regulations. They also required Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) protocols to conduct business
with some of their larger retail
clients.
Greenlight BTS consulted with client to
help them select
Dynamics AX as their new
operating system and:
- Developed a strategy to
coordinate multiple North American locations
and processes
- Established infrastructure to support
communications across borders
- Provided process capabilities to support their
projected sales growth
- Integrated Dynamics AX
compatibility with EDI functions to maintain communication with these customers.
- Prior to implementing the new AX system, the company had one full-time employee devoted to handling the EDI communications
- AX managed the system so efficiently there was
no need to increase staff size to handle
the increase in business the new facility brought,
which doubled the existing EDI volume.
