Easier and More Flexible Customer Credit
Management for Axapta
Customer credit management can be a varied
task. Credit manager often find themselves
being part collections agent, part
customer service rep, and part sales manger, which
ensures only those sales orders that do not
over-extend the company’s tolerance for risk
are processed. For some, the simple toolset to
see and manage a customer’s credit position
in Dynamics AX is not enough, which often
results in the need for custom reports and even the use of
external tools, such as Excel, to manage a
customer’s credit.
Use Standard AX Settings with Advanced Credit Management Options
With aXTend Credit Management, you can still use
standard Dynamics AX credit settings, but you
also get a myriad of additional parameters that
give you finite control of auto approval and
hold scenarios:
- For example, you can set past due
tolerances for a credit hold, which
has never been available in the base product.
- You can also set auto approval thresholds for
sales order amounts and payment types.
- The aXTend Credit Management module even gives you the ability for addendum credit amounts that expire on a given date.
This is very useful for special cases where you want to
give a customer a temporary bump in credit, to facilitate a special or seasonal order period.
