Microsoft announced it has released updated
versions of The Microsoft Dynamics AX
Statement of Direction and the Microsoft
Dynamics AX Vision and Roadmap presentation. Microsoft Dynamics® AX is a comprehensive business management solution for
mid-market organizations and divisions or larger enterprises that works like and
with familiar Microsoft software to help your people improve productivity.
The statement of direction will give
Dynamics AX implementation teams and
developers insight into Microsoft's vision,
product strategy and roadmap. The objectives
of the
document are to:
- Help prospective buyers ‘buy’ our
solution by giving insight into the
company's strategy and future releases.
- Help prospective partners build a
business case for why they should sell the
Dynamics AX solution or build on top of the
platform.
- Help existing AX partners and customers
plan near and long-term initiatives. For
example, help customers plan the roll-out of
Microsoft Dynamics AX across their
organization and into multiple markets
(regions) or business units.
