| REDMOND, WA: February
3, 2011 — Greenlight BTS recently attended
the Microsoft Dynamics AX Technical
Conference in Redmond to get a sneak peak of
the latest version of Dynamics AX. The
conference was packed with technical details
as Microsoft lifted the hood on their
upcoming release. Even so, you'll find
information about the new version hard to
find as all the conference attendees are
under a NDA, including Greenlight BTS as
participants in the private beta group.
Microsoft did announce that the new
version will officially be called Microsoft
Dynamics AX 2012 and plans to release it
later this year. It is clear that Microsoft
invested heavily in the new release packing
it with some very exiting new technologies
and expanding the feature set.
Dynamics AX 2012 will
have very significant improvements in performance,
technology, architecture, and integration with other
Microsoft products. Additionally, on the functional
side, AX 2012 will provide more robust feature sets
for specific business functions.
It is expected that
Microsoft will
officially start sharing details about the
product at Convergence 2011 in Atlanta this April. For more information, read "Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012' Named at Tech
Event" from the Redmond ChannelPartner e-magazine. (links open in new windows)
