March 24, 2008 - Microsoft presented a preview of the
next generation of
its
Dynamics AX ERP platform at
Convergence 2008 in Orlando in March.
The next generation of AX will be
dropping the ordinal version number in favor
of the Microsoft standard of naming their
product releases by year. And that simple
name change is more than symbolic of how
Dynamics AX 2009 embodies Microsoft’s vision
for the future of ERP business software.
Dynamics AX 2009 Supports Your Business
Dynamics AX is founded on four key
pillars to help businesses:
- Improve productivity - streamlined
access to critical information and
processes through Role Centers helps
to organize and manage an individual's work
better
- Manage change - respond quickly to
change by integrating processes and sharing
information and documents
- Compete globally - centralize and
standardize processes; manage business
across geographies and locations
- Ease compliance - reduce the risk,
liability and cost associated with
corporate governance and customer
initiative

Dynamics AX 2009 is packed with new
features and performance
improvements that will definitely garner the
